Thomas Freeland was my great great grandfather. Here is his obituary and his wifes obituary from Hornell New York newspaper.

Obituary from The Hornell Evening Tribune, 10 Mar 1916, pg 5

Thomas Freeland, 82 years old, died at the home of his son William Freeland at 213 East Avenue, this afternoon at about 1:30 o'clock, following an illness of the past three or four months.
Mr. Freeland was born in the villiage of Greenwood, where he spent his entire life with the exception of the past three and one-half years, which he lived in this city. While in Greenwood he engaged in farming and was one of the best known and highly respected residents of that section of the country.
At the outbreak of the Civil War he enlisted in Company K, 141 New York Volunteer Infantry, but before the close of the war he was severely wounded in an engagement and was discharged. He was a member of the G.A.R. Post at Greenwood until its ranks became too thinned by death, that the post was disbanded a few years ago.
He leaves to mourn his loss four sons, Oliver, William, and L.V. Freeland of this city, and Elsworth, of Jasper; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Van Sleet, of Greenwood, and Mrs. Minnie Woodward, of Canisteo; two brothers, Abram Freeland of Canisteo and Harrison Freeland, of Elmer, Pa.; and one sister, Mrs. Fisk, of Greenwood.
The funeral arrangements have not yet been made and will be announced later.

Obituary From The Hornell Evening Tribune, 6 Jul 1912, pg 3

Mrs. Freeland has been in ill health for some time, she recently came from her home in Greenwood to this city to take treatment. Beside her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Hugh Hart of this city and Mrs. Wilson Van Fleet and Mrs. Argie Wirt of Greenwood and four sons William, Oliver, and Levan of this city and Elsworth of Jasper.
The body will be taken to Greenwood for burial.

Charlotte's father was William Redfield born 1820. Her mother was Pamelia Alvord. Charlotte was born in 1849 in Mansfield PA.

Hope this helps.
