Hi Bev.
My own family (Redfern's) came from North Staffordshire (The Potteries)My father's name was Harry and his family consisted of George, Lilian, Kate, Charles, (Himself) and Cyril. My uncles & Aunties. My grandfather was John Redfern a Pottery Factory Manager. I understand that his origins were somewhere in the Derbyshire/Burton on Trent area but I do not know where. All are now deaceased. Charles had a very chequered career and emigrated to Canada where he married well. His daughter Kathleen is alive and well and we are in touch. There is a cousin Basil (George's son)
and Stan and Gwen (Cyril's children) still surviving.
