O'Rodige in some instances gradually became Ruddy in Ireland. When Ruddy's, like my grampa, moved to USA their kids couldn't have a colour as a surname, so, my dad for instance, became a Reddy, but two of his siblings have the Ruddy surname. So we're not real Reddys - unlike you.
