My 4th Great-grandfather was James Reading. He was born in 1824 in Ohio. Does this match your information? I don't know much about him, but I do know he lived in Searcy, AR in 1910, with his daughter Hannah and son-in-law John Pearce. I have a little more info if this is who you are looking for.
