According to the records I have, Silas Jefferson Redden was born in March 1878 in Madison County, Texas. He was the son of Thomas Jefferson Redden and Lutency Ann Crocker. His siblings were Margaret Anna Redden, William R. Redden, Amanda M. Redden, Ida V. Redden, Delia E. Redden, and James W. Redden.
I believe that Thomas is the son of William Roberson (or Robinson) Redden and Airaner A. "Ary" Puckett. They were married in Tallapoosa County, Alabama on July 16, 1846.
It appears that William is the son of George Redden and Frances "Fanny" South.
I believe George is the son on John and Sarah Ann Redden who are my gggg-grandparents.
