This is a tiny little thing but it does add to the idea that Rachel Redd Stevenson Everly went from Wayne Co., OH to Cass Co., IN after the death of her husband, Joseph Everly.I will just paste the reference and quotation below.(It is also interesting that Rachel's sister-in-law, Mary Berry Redd, took her 10 children from Wayne Co. OH to Cass Co. about 1831)
David Edwin Platter, A History of the Platter Family,(Cleveland, Ohio, May 1, 1919), p.72, Names 7 children of Joseph Everly and Rachel (Redd) , Stinson's widow."After the husband's death (1829) the family left Wayne Co. and are said to have removed to the west and all trace of them has been lost."
