I checked the Draft card for Leslie, and the last number, could be most anything in first look I thought a "O" making it 1880. I beieve Leslie is listed on the 1900 census in Middlesex MA a boarder b 1881 age 19, it's not sure who might have told the census taker. So that date is questionable. The cemetery record for Etta says unknown birth, died 1881. On the 1870 census in Maine, the family of Orren Soper Sr. shows Etta J age 20 and under her Orren H Soper age "14", is it possible that is wrong ? I see you have a hard one to figure out. I have seen errors on cemetery stones and census records and Draft Cards, so hard to say how this will work out. Sorry I wasn't of more help.
