I wasn't able to find the husband with the children in 1910, so that is why I asked. This was a tragedy for the family, of course. I feel badly for those poor children.

I wondered if the husband was listed in 1910 as widowed or divorced or ?

Have you checked any church records or ethnic newspapers?
