If anyone has access to NYC marriage records for the 1840's, I would appreciate learning if my GGF John BROWNLEE and his wife Mary Anne SPENCE were married there. We have their marriage date as 21 Jan 1843, place unknown. But we know Mary Anne SPENCE was born in NYC and that they lived there prior to going to New Orleans in 1845. I have searched online to no avail.
