I think you are right. William N was born in California and lived there until your notice that he entered the army at age 18. Then I have nothing for him until 1988, when living at Hemet Ca. he wrote a book "The American Descendents of Joseph Henry Records" (just found this on the internet and luckily microfilmed by LDS and so have just ordered!) Hopefully the book fills in some blanks.
For the wedding - I think your date might be right because it matches up with his given age of 62 - so maybe the divorce date is wrong. Can you tell me how to get that info - is it on the internet somewhere?
Something else I thought was interesting. I too, found the Pavers at the libary - and the next row over is a paver for his parents and guess who:
In Memory of John L. and Agnes Seibert | In Memory of William R. and Golda Records
I think these might be his wife's parents - surname Seiberts!
