Looking for information regarding a W.D.L. Record and family, from Lynchburg, Moore County, TN. A cousin had taken pictures of the head stones in a cemetery because of the family name, then gave me the pictures and asked if there was a connection between this family and ours. As follows:
Father: W.D.L. Record, b. Jan 3, 1849; d. Jan 28, 1897. There are Masonic symbols on this stone.
Mother: Sue Dance Record, b. Feb 25, 1859; d. Apr 10, 1945.
Sion (Seon?) Record, b. Nov 17, 1877; d. Feb 15, 1912.
James Dance Record, b. Jan 5, 1883; d. Nov 23, 1920.
Finettie Record, b. July 3, 1894; d. Jan 6, 1985.
Eula Record, d. Oct 16, 1953.
Found on the 1880 US Census, W.D.L.- occupation listed as lawyer. He is also mentioned in The Goodspeed History of Moore Co., TN. Information also indicates that W.D.L. and Sue Dance Record were married on 18 Jan 1877 in Moore Co. TN, and had 6 daughters and 2 sons.
