Charles B. Record, Maine and New Brunswick

Hello all:

I am hoping someone has information on the relationship between Charles B. Record, b. abt. 1815 in Dover or Hiram, ME, and his business partner, George W. Scales. According to the Dictionary of Canadian Biography, Charles had a furniture business and went to Moncton, NB with George Scales around 1855 and built a foundry. George is my great-great-grandfather and I can find no information about him or his family. (George married my g-g-grandmother Sarah J. Soule of Waterville, ME. They had 5 children; daughter Eva is my great-grandmother.) I am hoping someone in the Record family of ME can help. Any clues will be most appreciated and I will be happy to share the Dictionary article with you. Thanks!
