Delton:
Welcome to the genealogical world! AT first glance, it appears that you have an enviable ancestry that has already been documented many times over. Your Grandfather was Robert Greenleaf Record, aka Tommy, the prize fighter. Your ancestry is that of what I call the "Buckfield Maine Records". I would suggest, if you have not already done so, to either subscribe or visit the site: ancestry.com; they offer a 14 day free trial and they now own most of the genealogical sites, including rootsweb. Yours will be easy to trace; I just saw a "living Remick" who must be your Mother. I might also suggest you invest in a Family Tree program of some kind for your PC, in order to have a place to file your info properly, and then back it up with a cd or hard file.
Happy Hunting...it shouldn't take you long as this lineage is so well established. You started in the right place; the genforums are wonderful sites for info and finding cousins.
allbest,
patty
