Patrick: have tried to help you; on ancestry.com US WWI pilgrimage, 1930: Mrs. Minnie J. Record Route 2 Saratoga Springs, Saratoga, NY mother deceased: RECORD, GEORGE T. rank: Pvt Org.: Co. G, 107th Inf Cemetery: Flanders Field desires pilgrimage: NO Other than that; Geo. T. does not appear in any of the census; in 1910, and 1920 there is a CHAUNCEY/CHANCEY RECORD with wife Minnie in Saratoga NY. But I believe her maiden name was MINNIE GLEASON; now, if she were married twice, might be them?? There is also a WWI draft card registration for a GEORGE RECORD; shows him b. in PA, living in NY, but not Saratoga. He was single. On the surname PURPOSE: there is, on LDS site, MINNIE J. PURPOSE, b. 2 May 1892, Cheboygan, MI; dau. of John & Louise. Don't think she would be old enough to be the one you are searching for. There is a marriage on LDS for CHAUNCY A. RECORD & MINNIE GLEASON, 8 SEP 1891 of Sartoga, The Springs, Suffolk, NY. That's about all I could find. Geo. T. does not appear in the NY draft registrations for WWI...also, there are no family trees, etc. that reflect a GEORGE T. RECORD in that era....not much help am afraid...will keep an eye out. Also, if you just google on that name, the Pilgrimage thingy appears. Perhaps the history of George's military organization would provide more info on him? patty Notify Administrator about this message?
