Charles, How far back are you going in your "John" Record research. Does your research have anything to do with Highgate, VT? How did Nathan Record, Sr b1760 at Easton MA get to VT, for example. Just plain migration when VT opened as a territory or state? I realize you may not have any connections in this regard; but just wondering.
