I thank you for the information , particularly the information about the Rhode Island Marriages book. I have no information about a Barber ancestor, although this is used as a given name for Benjamin Barber Record (7 December 1804-21 July 1905), a son of James Record (1776-1866) I have no information about Daniel Barber Record or his descendants, other than what you post above. The tombstone of the Rev. John Record, Jr., has been obliterated in the abandoned cemetery of the demolished Baptist Church, Bangall, Dutchess County, New York. John’s wife, Mary Donwell Record, is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Town of Hanover, Chautauqua County, New York, along with her son Israel (12 October 1798-16 July 1887). Of her other 12 children, I have these burial locations: James (6 August 1776-21 October 1866, Dewittville Cemetery, Dewittville, Chautauqua County, New York) Wightman (31 January 1781-1 June 1811, Town of Pleasant Valley, Dutchess County, New York) Thomas (19 January 1785-2 November 1866, Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka, Dakota County, Minnesota) Deborah (14 October 1791-14 August 1875, Smith Mills Cemetery, Smith Mills, Chautauqua County, New York) never married.
