My father, Oscar Recor, is from Plattsburg, NY, not far from West Chazy. In fact, my dad often spoke of relatives in West Chazy. Oscar Recor was born in July 1923 and passed away in 1989. Oscar's father was Jerome and his mother was Harriette Busherie. Oscar has two sisters, Elizabeth and Catherine.
I have often tried to contact my Recor relatives, writing over 500 letters to known
addresses, with very limited results. So, I would be happy to hear from someone along my branch of the family tree.

I invite any Recor to visit the site and sign the Guest Book. I am aspiring also to initiate an annual Recor reunion at the farm in North Carolina. Let me know if you are interested in such a thing.
