hi there! i am charlotte reck.i'm 12 years old and i live in the u.k. and am also trying to trace family history.
As far as i could find out my family (reck) originated from Bavaria but i'm not completely sure of this as my father, Jim Reck, and grandfather, Patrick Reck, were both born in Wexford, Southern Ireland. while i was trying to find some info, i found lots of things about different John Reck's, this has interested me as my brother is also named John Reck.i found a John Reck killed at war, a John Reck who was an alaskian politician and now your relative, John Reck.
While searching, i also found a website with lots of pictures and information about Recks. it is-www.reckfamily.org it is extremely interesting and i would suggest you had a look!
If your Reck family and my Reck family are connected, i would love to share any information about Recks with you! thanks! from charlotte reck!
