Allen Doyle married Mary Reavisin Rutherford Co. nC in l800, Married Rosa Horton in Rutherford Co. in l806.
A letter from Wm Thoms Doyle b l82l says he is Allen Doyles
youngest child and his father died shortly after his birth.
He names children including John. The l820 Allen Co.KY census lists Allens children by age. (Not Name). We know Allens children by age and name. There is a son who by elimintion has to be John. The census gives children by sex and age bracket. The son who has to be John, could have been by Allen nd Mary Reavis or Allen and Rosa Horton. John S. Doyle b l83l could not be Allens, Rosa (a widow) had in l828 remarried.
The Doyles, Reaviss andHortons by l700 were living and marrying in Henrico Co. Va. By l780 had moved to Rutherford Co. NC. By l8l5 all three fmilies had moved to Allen Co. KY. So for over l00 years t here were mny intermarriages. In l840s most of Allen Doyles family moved to Camden Co. MO> Most of the HOrtons moved to AL.
