That is most interesting. I am a Revis/Reavis researcher,
having just published a new compilation of the family, and
have a database of over 38,000; I have one James Turner
Reavis, born 1874 NC and died 1961 in Iowa, s/o James
Washington who migrated to Iowa from NC before 1880.

Have a Turner Reavis 1812 NC 1872 Al, prominent jurist
in Alabama.

So hard to tell, but would seem James Turner, would be
most likely; but from an entire different area. Will
ck around to see if can locate family. Dixeebarb@aol.com
