The only information is what I got from the DAR books and I am just persuming that this is accurate.I do not know for sure.I had previously thought that William Reaves of Wayne County N.C. was Williams father. His will was filed 1793 naminghis childrenWm., Elizabeth, Steven, Lovette, Lee, Adam, John.Peggy (I was going by the naming pattern)
Hancock County, GA
John Reaves that married Hannah McWhorter- father was William Reaves born 1764 died 16 April 1816marriedElizabethPurvis1793
His children
Elizabeth-Cevil-Jesse-John-Joseph B-Benjamin-Steven- Polly -Lydia- Anna (my ancestor that married Eli McWhorter) Mary
If you have information to disprove this I will accept it because I just don't know this is all I have
