Hello,
In attendance of my great great grandfather's funeral, Bartholomew Joseph Neville, was a Mrs. James Reardon of Elmira, New York. My gg grandfather was allegedly born in Ny,( shown on census) near the Ny/Pa border. (he grew up in Susquehanna, Pa Little Meadows.) B.J was born 1843, ny, married 1876 Sarah Jane Barrett. BJ died Oct 11, 1911, in Clarks Summit, Pa.
There is a James Riordan from Susquehanna, PA who was in the Civil War (6th Pa. reserves) Could the soldier be the husband of the above mentioned Mrs Reardon, who attend B.J Neville's Funeral? If so this would confirm that James is either a cousin or uncle of BJ. I hope to prove either way that James and BJ are related.
If anyone could help me figure out the identity of James, or tell me who I should contact who can help, I would appreciate it.
