Hi Sharon:

My Maiden name is Reaney and I was born in Long Beach, California. My grandparents were Marie and Donald Eugene Reaney. They traveled here for work in the 30's from Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Two boys - my father, Dayton and Michael). I believe my great-grandparents migrated there (South Dakota) and worked on a railroad (I have information on it somewhere). Growing up, I was told that my grandfather was Scotch-Irish. He had two sisters, Miriam and Alice (only Alice is still living). Any connection?
