Do you have any advice for a Ream family with various spellings that landed in Izard Co. AR on the 1840 census? There is a possibility that they were in Franklin Co. AL on the 1830 census.

Amon G. Carter of Ft. Worth, TX, fame is a descendant of a Ream family from Marin Co. AR which was created from Izard Co. We are trying to put the pieces together as part of these Reams are related by marriage to the Everetts of the infamous feud of Marion Co. AR.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
