Here's my lineage from Eberhardt (This is correct spelling for Eb)

I can go all the way back to 1400's!

b. Oct. 8, 1687 Leimen, Heidelberg, Baden, Palatinate (the Palatinate is now part of Germany)
d. Aug. 22, 1779 Reamstown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania (buried in the Reamstown Cemetery)

1c) Johann Eberhardt was a baker, as was wife's father, Jost Schwab (name changed to Swope in America).
1d) Immigrated from Leimen to Rotterdam to Philadelphia in late 1717.
1e) Received a land grant 389 acres in Cocalico Township, Lancaster County from son of William Penn in 1724. Increased to 700-900 acres by 1760, when he
divided land among sons.
1f) They had 11 children: Jacob 1713, Anne 1716, Abraham 1718, Nicholas 1721, John 1723, Mathias 1726, Tobias 1733, Andrew 1737, Susanna ?, Samuel ?,
Adam ?
1g) Son Tobias divided his portion of the farm into building lots, sold them, and founded Reamstown.


2) Nicholas Riehm
b. 1721 Lancaster County (probably Leacock Township)
d. 1774 Reamstown, PA. Presumably buried in the Reamstown Cemetery, but no marker.

2a) First Wife: Elizabeth Reider, b. 1724 d. 1761
2b) Nicholas was a weaver.
2c) He sold the land he received from Eberhardt in 1760, built one of first houses in Reamstown.
2d) They had 8 children: Sarah, Abraham 1747, Joseph, Tobias, Andrew, Julianna, John, David.


3) Abraham Ream
b. 1747 Eberhardt's farm in Lancaster County
d. 1817 His farm in Centre County, PA. Buried in Tusseyville, PA.
Notes:
3a) Had 17 children with 2 wives (17 unconfirmed, at least 15).
3b) Wife #1: Elizabeth Neidig, married in 1767.
3c) . . 8 Children: Elizabeth, Catherine, Barbara, Christiana, John, Esther, Abraham, Peter 1786
3d) Wife #2: Magdalena March
3e) . . 7 Children: George, Magdalena, Eva, Sally, Peggy, David, Michael
3f) Served in Revolutionary War with Lancaster County militia.


4) Peter Ream
b. Oct. 5, 1786 southern Berks County (probably Cumru Township)
d. 1858 His farm near Akron, Fulton County, Indiana (buried in Akron City Cemetery)
Notes:
4a) Wife: Barbara Ann Smith, daughter of Stephen Smith (English).
4b) They had 12 children: Thomas, Jacob, Peter, Jonathan, Abraham P., William, Joseph, Wesley, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Anna, Sarah.
4c) A farmer who moved west progressively from PA, to Ohio, to Indiana.


5) Abraham P. Ream
b. Feb. 2, 1821, Peter's farm near Greentown, Stark County, Ohio
d. Jan. 1885 Greentown, Ohio (Greentown Cemetery)
Notes:
5a) Wife: Sarah Hannah Moore, b. 1830 d. 1892, married in 1848. Daughter of Joseph Moore, Jr. (English)
5b) They had 9 children: Margaret Ann "Maggie" 1849, Joseph Emory "Joe" 1851, Theodore Jackson "T.J." 1853, Sarah Elmira "Ella" 1855, William Franklin
"Frank" 1858, James Homer "Homer" 1860, Emma Cordelia "Dill" 1862, Harvey Baird 1864, Norman Victor 1867
5c) A farmer and lay Methodist Minister.
5d) Middle name was probably Peter.


6) Theodore Jackson "T.J." Ream (my great grandfather)
b. Apr. 15, 1853 father's farm near Greentown.
d. Jan. 30, 1918 Topeka, Kansas

6c) An ordained Methodist minister, with churches in Ohio, Iowa, and Kansas.
6d) Both T.J. and Cassie buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka, KS (as is Dwight Ream & family).


7) Joseph Harold Ream (my grandfather)
b. Oct. 5, 1903 the Methodist parsonage in Bedford, Iowa
d. Jan 20, 1988 Mobile (Fairhope), Alabama , buried in Tallahassee, Florida.

7a) Wife: Mary "Anita" Biggs b. Oct. 3, 1906 Buffalo, MO. d. Apr. 17, 1955 Tallahassee, Florida.
7b) They had 5 children: Jack, Steve, Dave, Nancy, Chris
7c) Common family nickname: The Old Man "OM"
7d) CBS Chief Legal Counsel & Exec V.P., 1st Civilian Deputy Director of Nat. Sec. Agency (NSA).
7e) Florida cattle rancher, builder of cabins in New York and California.


8) Jackson Ream (my father)
b. July 19, 1932 Buffalo, NY
