Rebecca:
This seems to be the day I catch up on a few genealogy matters. I've already written to Glenn Sherwood to confirm my ignorance of French roots, and to compliment him on his Vinnie work.
I too am descended from Nicholas' son Abraham (1747-1817). As you probably know, he was in the Lancaster County militia, thus qualifying us for DAR membership, should you be interested. The next generation in my line is Peter Ream (1786-1858).
I haven't been in Reamstown recently. I wonder whether Jack and Shirley Lee have yet discovered/confrimed that Nicholas is in the Ream Cemetery. As you may know, Nicholas has no stone there, but it makes sense that he would have been buried there (1774).
