My family comes mainly from Southern Alabama. James Patrick Real who was a just of the peace in southern AL. Reel Island and Reel Town were named after my Grandfather. The story is that we are form Ireland and our names were changed in part from Oreilly desendants from I believe Craven County? It has been awhile since I have done any research but hopefully with this board's help I will start again and fill in some of the gaps.
