One of my female forebears was a Mourilyan, and as such I have been trying to trace all the members of the family, during the course of which I have acquired a lot of information about them all. They were a very interesting family, and while I'm pretty certain that they had Huguenot origins I've yet to establish it beyond doubt. Do you have any definitive information? I'm more than happy to share my information with you, so please feel free to contact me.
Anyway, your assumption about a Reader - Mourilyan marriage is correct, in fact there were probably two!
As to Henry Whittell's association with the Mourilyan family, it could be through Martin who was a lithographic printer, Stephen Reader who was a woolstapler, or John or Joseph Noakes who were both solicitors.
