I have been searching and searching for the parents of my John K Reeder. In the 1820 census, it was spelt Reader. I don't know if that is a misspelling or if they changed the spelling later on. Here's what I know.
John K Reader/Reeder - born January 3, 1798 in Virginia (according to the census records of his son, Thomas R Reeder). He died 3/13/1834 in Carroll County, Tennessee. He married Elizabeth Harris sometime before 1828. She was born 4/16/1803 in North Carolina and died 9/5/1845 in Carroll County, Tennessee. They had 4 children: Ephraim R Reeder (died in the Civil War), twins - James King Reeder and Thomas R Reeder, and a stillborn baby girl.
I have quite a bit of information on their descendents but I am stuck and can't seem to get past them.
Can anyone help me????
