John Reader, 1899, Shoreditch, London

I am looking for relatives of my paternal grandfather John Reader (born 1881 Shoreditch – died 1952 Chandlers Ford). Parents George (possibly born Cambridgeshire) and Elizabeth Reader.
When John enlisted in the Rifle Brigade in October 1899 his address was 50 Clarissa Street, Hagerston, East London and he declared 3 brothers and 5 sisters. A twin brother (James?) may have died as an infant, and one brother may have been Robert who emigrated to Australia before WW1.
John served in South Africa, then Egypt in 1902, then went to India in December 1905. He was an acting sergeant in November 1908, when he married Annie Hodges (born 1885, London – died March 1975, Herne Bay) in Karachi. They had two children, my father Jack (1910-90) and Winifred (1913-88). My grandfather transferred to the Indian Army Ordnance Corps instead of returning to England with the regiment and retired back to England in the late 1920s or early 1930s.
Do these details look familiar to anyone? I would appreciate any help as to where all of my grandfathers family ended up. There was some kind of argument or fight with his father maybe when he joined the army and left home. My father (Jack) tried to find out when he came to England in 1925 and joined the RAF but apparently got the brush off from relatives here.
