Found in 6/16/00 Des Moines Register the following:Charles Adelbert Reader, 80, of Knoxville, IA, died of a heart attack Tuesday at Knoxville RestHome. Graveside services 3pm Friday at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.
Mr. Reader was born in Toranto, KS. He was injured while serving in WWII and had lived in various Veterans Medical Centers ever since. He moved to Knoxville 5 years ago. He was known for always being friendly to staff at patients at the care centers.
There are no immediate survivors. Friends may call from noon to the time of services Friday at Williams Funeral Home, Knoxville.
