Looking for information on Absolom Reid/Reed from Daniels Cove, son of Joseph Reid. Married Bridget Nipper of Seldom ComeBy, daughter of Thomas Nipper from Dorset, England.
Absolom and Bridget were married 27 Nov 1883, in White Rock. I have 6 children listed for them.

2. Will/William Reid
3. Sarah Ellen Reid born 1871, Pictou Co. Nova Scotia, died 08 Nov 1953 and buried in Windsor Penecostal Cemetery, Earl St. She married William T. Higgins on 16 Aug 1905 in Stellarton, Nova scotia. He died 17 Apr 1948 and is also buried in same cemetery.Witness's to the wedding were Eli B Hillier and wife (Sarah's sister Lavinia)
4. Lavinia Reid born 02 Jan 1888, died 22 May 1960 in Windsor Newfoundland, married Eli Bernard Hillier (son of Eli Hellyer and Louisa Hellyer Brown) he was born 08 Jun 1880, New Harbour, Trinity Bay Nfld. He died 15 Aug 1946 in Windsor Nfld. They were married 1905 in Pictou County, Nova Scota. They had 9 children, including my great grandfather William Hillier who married Melinda Blanche Legge.
5. Arthur James Reid born 10 Nov 1905 in Stellarton, Nova Scotia (twin to Belle) he died 02 Feb 1981 in Central NewfoundlandRegional Health Center. He married Annie Vivian Mary Chaulk on feb 12 1937. She was born 17 Sep 1916, GrandFalls Nfld, and died 24 Mar 2007 in Central Newfoundland regional health center. They had 8 children.
6. Mary Belle Reid was born Nov 10 1905 in Stellarton, Nova Scotia (twin to Arthur "art"). She died May 1966, married to Lloyd Fudge who was born 15 Jul 1899 and died 18 Apr 1982. Both are buried in Windsor Penecostal Cemetary. They had 2 children.
Find it coincidental that theres so many REID families from newfoundland also living in Stellarton, Pictou County, Nova scotia..maybe a connection somewhere..
