Thanks for the reply, Rita. Sounds like there might be a very slim chance of some sort of connection, but I doubt it. My g-g-grandfather, James A. Rea came from Pennsylvania, married in Ohio, and settled, first, in Wisconsin, then Minneosta. As far as I know, his son Clyde was the only one who had children who wound up in Stockton. My James A. Rea married Lucinda Barber in Summit County, Ohio April 11, 1852, so it's obviously not the same James Rea. He was still married to Lucinda when he died in Marshall, Minnesota in 1894, so there is no chance of a second spouse, either. As far as I know, there are no Duval connections in my family.
