Susan, do you have anything on the family of Orville R. Rea, who was born just two counties east of Isaac Rea (Cherokee County, KS, in 1901)? I am certain there must be a relationship between them, but haven't found the link, yet. Orville was the second husband of Lorraine Allingham, whose first husband was my grand uncle Leon Dudley Rea. Leon and Lorraine lived in Tracy, Minnesota, where Leon was born. I've been trying to find out how Orville R. Rea is related to my line, as I'm sure he must be, somehow. It would be a fantastic coincidence if Lorraine was married to two consecutive Reas who weren't related.
Given that Isaac and Orville were both from Southeastern Kansas, I think there is likely to be a relationship. Orville was born in Scammon and died and is buried in Topeka. I've been unable to find out who his parents were, but I suppose it's possible that he could be a son of Isaac, since they were a generation apart in age and since Isaac was in the Southeastern part of the state well before Orville was born.
