I am not related. I collect historical items from the War of Northern Aggression, and have a wonderful original photo of "B.J.Raisor", apparently a Yankee soldier in the Pennsylvania 16th Cavalry. I have contacted various Razors, Raisors, Raysors, but have been unable to locate him, and cannot find him in military records. . He had a son "Forrest", and a wife "Lydia", and a grandson "Harold". There were several Raisor families in PA in the 1850 & 1860 census, but a B or B.J. doesn't appear. The main herd of Raisors seems to be in Kentucky, but a family spokesman there has no record of a B, or Forrest, or Lydia.

Thanks for the additional info on Colonel Raysor of SC. That is my parent's home state, and I have the book mentioned.
