There are two web sites that may help you, the first is

patsabin.com/lowcountry/
the second is the web site of the Fontaine/Maury Society at

fm.society.home.att.net or
home.att.net/~fmsociety/

At the Fontaine Maury Society click on other links and elect Mott Risher.

Of course, keep in mind there is a lot of bogus information on the web.

If the Mott Risher site has the correct information Thomas E. Raysor had a daughter
named Caroline Eliza Raysor.

Although you did not ask for information about Thomas' anscestors, working backwards it appears his parents were George Raysor
and Ann Stokes. George Stokes was a son of
Michael Raysor and Eleanor Risher.

Eleanor Risher was a daughter of Benjamin Risher, Sr. and Mary Fontaine. Ben and Mary arrived in what is now part of modern Colleton County, SC around the time of the American Revolution. Ben served under Francis Marion. Ben and Mary appear to have arrived in SC from the area of New Bern, NC.
Their roots go back to Virginia. Mary's grandfather was the Rev. Francis Fontaine.

I am a descendant of Benjamin Risher Sr and Mary Fontaine. If you want anymore information about them, I will be glad to pass on what I know.
