Bob Raynor's site: [email protected]
His site deals with the descendants of Edward Raynor1 (founder of Freeport).
I've been concentrating on the south shore Freeport area residents. Most of the people living there prior to 1870 are descendants of people who came to the area in the mid 1600s. It wasn't until after the Civil War, when the railroad came to Freeport, that new names start to appear. They had large families!By the 1800s, you start finding several 1st and 2nd cousins born in and around the same time with the same name.Census information didn't start listing family members until 1850.
You might try contacting the Riverhead Historical Society to see if they have an 1890 census information which should have a listing for Eunice Raynor.
longislandgenealogy.com is another site worth trying
There's another site called Raynor Gateway which has the history, some newsclippings on both the Edward1 and Thurston1. It also has a listing forThurston-Jonathan3 line
