Raynor Family in NC and Al.
I'm looking to see if anyone can tell me what Raynor was the first to move to Al. the records that I have says that a brother of James Jarvis had moved to Al. first. James Jarvis died befor 1833 and the next year his wife Hannah moved her children to Al. and lived beside the brother.
I have that between David, Sarah and Amy there were 11 children,John, James Jarvis, Pearcy, Ann, Elizabeth, Phereba, William, Samuel, Joab, Matthew and Richard.
John stayed in Wayne most of the time, James Jarvis died in Sampson Co. ca. 1833, Pearcy, Elizabeth, Phereba, William, stayed in Sampson Co., Samuel, Joab and Matthew was in Sampson and Johnston, and Richard was in Wayne with a very large plantation.
So if this is true, then what brother had moved to Al. first. Can anyone check the 1830 census for me and let me know what Raynor where living in Al.
Thanks Donna
