Dear Jan--

Glad you hit pay dirt with Edmund...What luck, finding a
cache of letters that old...

One name I forgot to include yesterday(?)--who may be
located nearer than the others to "Edmund's stomping
grounds"--and therefore perhaps more likely to be re-
lated:

Viola Raynolds,b. 5April 1888...d. 15 Feb. 1970, at
Sulphur Springs, Hopkins Co, TX--SS#466-60-6883...
I think this listing came from the SSDI.

Sulphur Springs, as you'll find from a good road map,
or an Internet map program, is about 270 miles NNE
of San Marcos--296 miles by road--and perhaps 30
miles ENE of Dallas. It is the county seat of Hopkins County.

Now I've "cleared my desk."

Sincerely,

Brian Cooper
