Hi Brian,

apoplogies for the delay in posting this reply. Yes, I am NSW born. According to the information I have available: Radford and Julia's fifth child (of nine) was named Radford (born in Maitland, NSW). He married Mary McShane in Armidale, NSW and their second child (of ten) was Cecil Leslie (my grandfather - who gave me my first football, my first cricket bat and my first watch!). He married Mary Guerin (my grandmother - a wonderful person) and their second child was my dad (Brian).

I am the eldest of five children and have four of my own.

Radford and Mary's fifth child was also a Radford.

Do you have a connection to Radford (snr.)?

By the way, his parents were William Rayment and Eliza Cooper. William apparently died at the age of 33 frm tuberculosis, but Radford snr. lived to be 92.

Cheers,

CR
