Need a little help....he came over in Nov 1857,thru New Orleans, but his name was not on the ships passenger list, all the cenus of 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, & 1920 he says he was born in Germany, along with his parents. but Rayfield is not a German Name, the germanic spelling of Rayfield was not on the passenger list. So where do I go from here?
He lived in Kansas until he died in Aug 1922. WAs Rayfield his real name, what was it. How can I find out? Need your help.
