I have found a wonderful site for the Seiver County, Tn Rayfields that has real good information on this family.
http://gosmokies.knoxnews.com/ Do a search and look around. I found the cemetery where Charles is buried, stories about the old home place etc. It takes time and searching but it is there. There is a picture of Charles' wife Elizabeth also. This is were the family moved to after John in NC then Charles in Seiver County, Tn in the Great Smoky Mountains.
