Where did your Rayfields emigrate from in England in 1703? as there seem to be two distinct Rayfield settlements here in England. One in Kent which is probably the bigger of the two & the one I am descended from in Clerkenwell, London. So far, following a recent visit to the family Record Centre in London I have now found a Thomas & Elizabeth Rayfield in the records of St.James Parish Church in Clerkenwell at the baptism of their son Richard in 1794.
As far as I know no connection has yet been made between Kent & Clerkenwell.
