I have found both Nelson and Sylvester in the 1870 census. From the looks of the census, Sylvester moved to Ga. about 1850. There is a Martial, age 21, listed as born in Ga. Eli, age 23, was born in S.C. Has anyone found out anymore on this family? And does anyone know why the name change?
