There was a Frederick Ray (Along with a Joseph Ray) arrested for counterfeiting in Dinwiddie Co VA in 1776. This could be the Brunswick Co VA Frederick since Dinwiddie Co joins Brunswick Co. There seems to be some confusion about the two Frederick Rays, since both of them were in GA at the same time...And both had wives named Nancy.
