I do not have access to all name search for the 1930 census here at home so can't check the 1930 census for his parents -
You can:
A. Send for his Social Security application and get his parents names from that.
B. Send for his birth certificate since it should be on file.
C. Get a copy of his obit and see what it says about his family - since his wife outlived him - and there was at
least one other child - his last benefit was sent to Temple
