The following information was contributed by Bud Daniels. Found in Beaufort Co., NC where Joshua sold his land that he owned on both sides of Durham Creek. Deed Book 23, page 403, dated 16 Jan 1845, mentioned the place where he lived. Source 2: Beaufort Co., NC., Deed Bk. # 14, pg.# 236: The last transaction was dated 14 Oct 1847 in deed book 14, page 236. Source 3: NC Commissioner's Minutes: Dated: September 5, 1852 to December 17, 1852. Contributed by: Bud Daniels. Found in Beaufort Co., NC, where Joshua sold his land that he owned on both sides of Durhams Creek. Deed Book #23, page# 403, Dated: January 16, 1845, mentioned the place where he lived. Then Bud, found in the Craven Co., NC Commissioner's Minutes where the Superintendent of the Poor House was allotted an allowance between 3 to 10 dollars for J. Rawls and Joshua Rawls. He was first listed 05 Sep 1852 to 17 Dec 1852. A 13 Dec 1852 entry listed the allowance to J. Rawls family. The 17 Dec 1852 entry listed him as dead.
