Hi,
I believe you and I most likely are researching the same Rawlinson Family.
My George Rawlinson/Rolison came out of Rickland, South Carolina between 1820-1830. He settled in Alabama and then move the family to Mississippi. Sons William Francis Rolison and Benjamin Franklin Rolison stayed in Mississippi
where my grandfather George Rolison was born. I have always
felt my line were listed among the free-other but I have had a great deal of resistance from fellow Rolison researchers. I have some interesting materials to send along should you be interested in corresponding with me.
