Hi I see we don't have may researchers here but this is who I'm interested in. Jane Rawling born 28th Febuary 1867 at Waggon Rows, Usworth, Chester-le-street, Co. Durham living at new Seaham near to coal mine. Her mother was Margaret Ann Pearson and father was Robert Rawling. Jane married Edgar Crane on 16th April 1887 at Seaham. Robert Rawling and Edgar Crane worked at New Seaham Coal Minning Pit. A Pit exploxion happened there in 1880. Robert was killed. And Edgar was a surviver. Edgar's son Robert had married into the Ovington Family at Cornish St. Seaham. Robert Crane married Margaret Ovington. Marageret's (possibly her brother) James Ovington was also killed in the pit accident. The Ovington family were from Sedgefield (grandmother was born there), Gainsforth (mother of family was born there) and her children were born at Haswell. The Crane family had come from Cransford, Suffolk. Any connections ? Email me or leave message here. Victoria House Notify Administrator about this message?
