Henry Bathe of Stithians was a bit more than a Yeoman. He held several properties in Stithians and Wendron (including two tin stamping mills) left to him by his father Edmund Bathe. Henry and Ann Rawle had two sons William & Edmund. Nothing more is known of William, presumably he died young. Edmund in turn had a son Henry and a daughter Elizabeth. This Henry is described as a "tinner" & "gentleman". There are strong indications he had no children and may not have married.
Henry died 16 Sept. 1658. Ann died Oct 1676. Both buried at Stithians.
Henry's brother James was my ancestor.
